i am trying to install a photo viewer software from a cd with no directions,what do i do?

i feel stupid because it seems so simple. usually every thing i install starts on its own or has dummy directions. its one of those photokey chain things.

1. Open the contents of the cd from windows explorer. Then search for some ".exe" or application file. Double click on it and keep accepting the details and pressing next and finally your software will be installed. If you know english then you can very well comprehend the steps.
